“Mary and Max” Breaks New Ground at the IPN

In a groundbreaking event, the “Ing. Alejo Peralta” Auditorium at the “Jaime Torres Bodet” Cultural Center hosted a memorable film screening of Mary and Max, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Adam Elliot, drawing an audience of over 800 attendees.

On May 23, the IPN’s Directorate of Cultural Outreach transformed its iconic venue into an intimate, shared space for this special screening, marking a key moment in its cultural programming by embracing an unconventional format.

Through initiatives like this, the Instituto Politécnico Nacional not only presents films but also reimagines the cultural experience, offering new ways for audiences to engage with art and emotion, and broadening the scope of cultural life within the Institute.
