Awards and honorable mentions were presented to the winners of the 2024 Interpolitécnico Arts Competitions in categories including visual and plastic arts, oratory, poetry, contemporary dance, declamation, storytelling, drawing, object art, photography, and music, among others.

At the "Alejo Peralta" Auditorium within the "Jaime Torres Bodet" Cultural Center, the Directorate of Cultural Dissemination of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) honored 870 participants across more than 19 competitions and 136 artistic workshops held at 18 IPN venues, including “El Queso” and the Los Pinos Cultural Complex. As part of the ceremony, the winning poems were recited, and the song "Amor Eterno" was performed by the “Noveno Caballero” rondalla from the Escuela Superior de Física y Matemáticas. Additionally, the musical number "Ojos Tapatíos" was performed by the group "Ave Fénix."

Awards were also presented in the music category, including disciplines such as piano and multi-level rondalla performances.

Thanks to the artistic diversity and richness embodied by each participant, from stunning musical, theatrical, and dance performances to innovative literary and visual creations, each presentation showcased the talent and passion that define the IPN community.

During the event, it was announced that the Interpolitécnico Visual Arts Competitions Exhibit will be displayed in December at the gallery of the Pino Suárez Metro Station on Line 2. Additionally, a new competition called “Vocal Ensemble” was announced.

The day before, in Auditorium B of the "Jaime Torres Bodet" Cultural Center, outstanding students were recognized during the 31st edition of the Interpolitécnico Theater Competition and Showcase 2024. A commemorative plaque for the event was also unveiled.

Awards were given for outstanding scenic improvisation, participants in the University Theater Festival, and categories such as Best Male and Female Performance, Makeup Design, and Movement Design, among others.
