The nighttime picnic is back. This time, the Escuela Superior de Física y Matemáticas (ESFM) played host to the first outdoor screening, setting up a space behind the library of Building 9 on January 18th. At 6:30 PM sharp, the movie "Shrek" began playing in a lively atmosphere.
With a cool temperature, typical of a winter afternoon, most attendees wore jackets, hats, and blankets to enjoy a cinematic experience like few others. The weather invited cuddling with partners or friends, and gradually, viewers found a spot in front of the big screen, ready to watch the film with some snacks and all the enthusiasm to enjoy the pleasant event.
The darkness allowed the projection to achieve excellent clarity, and the surround sound made attendees feel as if they were truly in a movie theater. It was in this way that everyone lying on the grass laughed out loud, and even among groups of young people, dialogues from the most iconic parts of the film could be heard.
This event is part of the activities organized by the Cultural Diffusion Department to provide an artistic and cultural offer with a gender perspective and inclusive approach, through multidisciplinary in-person and virtual activities that promote sensitivity and comprehensive humanistic education within the polytechnic community.
