CECyT 7 recognizes graduate's contribution to the benefit of students at the campus

For his social contribution and promotion of linkage with the productive sector for students of Industrial Welding Technician at the Centro de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos (CECyT) 7 "Cuauhtémoc," the school community recognized graduate Ángel Diego Mosco Sánchez.

Since 2009, the honoree has provided two scholarships for online training in the "Preparation for Welding Inspector Specialist" course, which offers the possibility of obtaining certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) to work internationally in welding processes.

This year, the benefiting students were Karla Josefina González Barrios and Francisco Jesús Rojano Ortega, fifth-semester students, who completed the 80-hour course.

Ángel Mosco Sánchez, quality manager at the French company Alstom Group, where he validates welds for railway components and train manufacturing, conducted the training. It covered basic welding knowledge, safety requirements, metallurgy and welding, welding symbology, non-destructive testing, and destructive testing.

The Polytechnic graduate promotes this initiative to give back to the education received at the Politécnico, aiming for CECyT 7 students to acquire the necessary skills to succeed in the industry.

Ángel Mosco Sánchez holds international certifications from the American Welding Society (AWS), allowing him to conduct such training sessions, which enable beneficiaries to work in various parts of the world.
