With 120 broadcasts aired since 2021, the science and technology news program "Más Ciencia" on Radio IPN has been recognized by the National Association of Radio Announcers of Mexico with the Golden Microphone, the highest accolade bestowed by this organization.

Hosted by the head of the IPN broadcasting station, Enrique Anzures Becerril, the news program has been an informative space that weekly highlights the most important advances in the fields of science, technology, and innovation at both national and international levels, as well as the developments taking place at the Politécnico.

Anzures Becerril explained that during this administration, emphasis was placed on the development of radio products "that promote scientific culture among the Polytechnic community and radio listeners tuning in to Radio IPN."

His expertise in the field of public communication of science, recognized by the organization that brings together over 12,500 radio and television hosts in Mexico and Latin America, opened the door for him to coordinate the Diploma course in Communication of Scientific Culture. This diploma is offered at the Centro de Investigaciones Económicas, Administrativas y Sociales at IPN, aiming to train new science communicators at the Politécnico.

Anzures Becerril has previously been acknowledged for his work as a science communicator by the Government of Mexico City with the Youth Award, as well as by the Astronomical Society of Mexico with the "Luis G. León" Medal.
