The Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) invites high school aspirants to explore the Expo-Profesiográfica 2025 for upper secondary education, taking place at the Jaime Torres Bodet Cultural Center in Zacatenco. The event is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through Sunday, January 26.

The exhibition features stands representing 20 Centros de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos (Cecyt), including the newly inaugurated “Natalia Serdán Alatriste” campus in Puebla, and the Centro de Estudios Tecnológicos (CET) 1 “Walter Cross Buchanan.” Faculty and students highlight the diverse academic programs, as well as sports, artistic, and cultural activities offered at each school.

During the event’s inauguration, Arturo Reyes Sandoval emphasized that the Politécnico, with 89 years of history, proudly fulfills the mandate of General Lázaro Cárdenas del Río by providing advanced technological education to underserved social sectors, thereby contributing to the nation's economic growth.

He invited attendees to explore the stands and learn about the educational opportunities, which include 54 academic programs—41 classroom-based and 13 blended or distance-learning options—across three areas of knowledge: Physical-Mathematical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, and Social and Administrative Sciences.

Reyes Sandoval also noted that the Expo, under the theme “No Limits with Imagination, Technology, and Innovation,” expects around 38,000 visitors. Attendees will have the chance to engage with vocational simulators, take orientation tests, and participate in talks about the various technical-professional careers available.

“This decision you are about to make will surely change your life. There are pivotal moments in life when choosing one path opens up new perspectives, more knowledge, and an exciting journey you can undertake with great success,” Reyes Sandoval remarked.

IPN Academic Secretary, Ismael Jaidar Monter, highlighted the resources available to students, including the Defensoría de los Derechos Politécnicos and the Unidad Politécnica de Gestión con Perspectiva de Género (UPGPG). These units work to foster a community of equity, free from violence and discrimination.

He further emphasized that imagination, technology, and innovation empower IPN students to excel in national and international competitions, academic programs abroad, and groundbreaking research and innovation projects.
