Felisa Guzmán
With pride and heart, the "shark" of business, Arturo Elias Ayub, donned the institutional jacket and joyfully shouted "Huélum," pleased with the first encounter with the polytechnic community. The entrepreneur shared that loving what you do, never stopping dreaming, being honest, and loving Mexico is key to success.
Recognizing his eagerness to come to the Polytechnic, in front of an audience of young people who cheered upon his arrival at the Arturo Elias Ayub: Inspiration for Entrepreneurs Felisa Guzmán Auditorium "Ing. Alejo Peralta" at the Jaime Torres Bodet Cultural Center, Elias Ayub expressed that life is about being happy. "Don't let yourself be pressured, think about what you want, what will make you happy, and do it with passion and honesty."
Accompanied during the talk "What comes after university life?" by the General Director of the Polytechnic, Arturo Reyes Sandoval, and the Executive President of the Council of Communication, Salvador Villalobos Gómez, the author of the book "El Negociador" shared anecdotes from his life to inspiring the polytechnic students in entrepreneurship and business matters.
The General Director of the Telmex Telcel Foundation described himself as an innate dreamer, whose aspirations have evolved throughout his business life. Therefore, he emphasized that dreams and priorities change, but the essential thing is to never stop setting goals because they are the driving force to move forward.
Elias Ayub, star of "Shark Tank Mexico," recognized that university students are a generation with seldom-seen strength. "If each one of them uses it, uses it for what it should be used for, and does it well, they will change the country."
Amidst laughter and emotion, an atmosphere of trust was created between the audience and the Director of Strategic Alliances and Content at América Móvil, who firmly expressed that the only non-negotiable thing in life is values.
Highlighting that the only way Mexico has to combat poverty is through decent and well-paid employment, he recommended the polytechnic students seek good mentors, be patient and persistent when starting a business, and learn how to express their ideas clearly to achieve their goals.
Previously, upon receiving Elias Ayub, the General Director, Arturo Reyes Sandoval, acknowledged that the Polytechnic has been one of the most important factors of social mobility transformation in the country. Therefore, he thanked the Mexican entrepreneur for inspiring the students, as his example represents a turning point for decision-making.
