The Centro de Investigación e Innovación Tecnológica (CIITEC) has received computer equipment donated by the company Procesamiento de Ingeniería Estructural, Sociedad Civil, for an amount of 471,669 pesos, which expands the academic network of this center for the benefit of the students in the Master's and Doctorate programs in Advanced Technology.

Through the Politécnico Foundation, the company has provided this support to CIITEC due to a successful working relationship with the scientific community, which has provided services and consultations in the analysis of structural materials with the aim of ensuring safety, efficiency, and durability in them.

During the event of receiving 10 computers, the director of CIITEC, Ricardo Rafael Ambriz Rojas, emphasized that since its inception, this center has one of its main functions to offer services to the industry and government in the areas of expertise of its professors, as well as to develop projects with the technological and scientific infrastructure it has, which is enriched with this type of collaboration.

In turn, the Coordinator of Business Linkages at the Politécnico Foundation, Saúl Ibarra Correa, highlighted that the Foundation is an ally for the Politécnico, a structure that seeks to facilitate things in the face of constant technological changes. He recognized that centers like CIITEC require greater investment in infrastructure to stay at the forefront, "that's why we believe these supports are important for its community."

The legal representative of Procesamiento de Ingeniería Estructural, S.C., Vicente Robles Jara, expressed his satisfaction in collaborating with CIITEC and the joint learning in processes that allow the company to meet the demand for civil engineering and structural projects for the public and private sectors.

The head of the Department of Scientific and Technological Research and Innovation, Guillermo Velázquez García, commented that the donation will contribute to the academic network of the Dimensional Metrology and Physical Testing Laboratory, where hardness tests, mechanical tests, fatigue and fracture of materials, dimensional metrology, and experimental stress measurement are conducted.
