Description

At the end of the Pharmaceutical Chemical Technician career, the graduate will be prepared to join higher level studies in the Medical-Biological branch, as well as to immediately access the industrial sector of goods and services, applying the knowledge and skills that will allow him/her to install, operate and maintain the systems that make up the digital communication networks.

The graduate will be able to occupy intermediate positions between managers and operators that support the industrial organization with quality.

The students of this career are prepared for life over-coming the challenges that Education 4.0 demands, and upon completion of their studies will be ready for the social and labor impact that today demands the Institute in its internationalization.

Knowledge

  • Classes are given in Spanish.
  • Basic knowledge in biology, chemistry, physics, history, geography, civics, mathematics, reading, writing, English and computers.

  • Prepares operation reports for the different areas of the company, such as:
    • Quality assurance drug production.
    • Equipment maintenance.
    • Warehouse of raw materials and finished products.
    • Drug packaging area.
  • Knows and applies the legal norms to which medicines are subject.
  • Selects and installs equipment and accessories for the production of solid dosage forms.
  • Operates equipment for the production of solid dosage forms.
  • Interprets and applies safety and hygiene regulations in production areas.
  • Interprets the technical information of the standard operating procedures manuals of the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Academic Requirements

To enroll in the Middle Highschool with Technical Studies, Non-School and Mixed modalities, the requirements established in the call of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional must be complied with. Once the results are published, the applicant must complete the enrollment process as mentioned in the call.
