Upon graduation, the Automotive Systems Technician will have the ability to present mastery of knowledge in the various automotive systems, as well as have good presentation and ability in the workplace and daily life, through teamwork with a positive attitude, through skills, abilities, and competencies in the work developed in automotive systems, applying new technologies, mastery of management and software management, as well as, demonstrate comprehensive training, performing in different work environments, exercising decision making with a critical, creative, ethical and responsible attitude, based on the skills acquired in the external and institutional practices, during the stay in the IPN's Middle Highschool with Technical Studies, acquiring the ability to manage and master the English language as well as the entrance to the Higher Level and/or insertion into the labor field.

Professional Competences

• Repairs steering and suspension systems based on specifications and use the manufacturer's manual.
• Evaluates electrical, electronic, and control systems to maintain them in operating conditions based on specifications and the manufacturer's manual.
• Verifies the technological innovation in the automotive vehicle systems based on the manufacturer's technical specifications.
• Verifies the operation of the drive system according to the procedures and manuals of the hybrid vehicle.

To enroll in the Middle Highschool with Technical Studies of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), the applicant must comply with the requirements established by the assignment contest of the Comisión Metropolitana de Instituciones Públicas de Educación Media Superior (COMIPEMS). Once the results are published, the student must complete the enrollment process as mentioned in the call for applications.
