Description

The Electrical Control Systems Technician is responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems for the control and automation of processes, as well as the administration of material and human resources within a framework of quality and current regulations.

Professional Competences

  • Analyze the fundamentals, electronic parameters, passive and active elements, as well as types of single-phase and three-phase circuits in alternating current for their correct application in their daily and professional life.
  • Solves resistive circuits in direct current in their different associations, making use of the electrical parameters, their units of measurement, and measuring instruments based on current standards.
  • Construct diagrams using virtual tools that allow them to simulate, check and assemble different electrical and electronic circuits to later design prototypes of electrical systems.

Academic Requirements

To enroll in the Middle Highschool with Technical Studies of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), the applicant must comply with the requirements established by the assignment contest of the Comisión Metropolitana de Instituciones Públicas de Educación Media Superior (COMIPEMS). Once the results are published, the student must complete the enrollment process as mentioned in the call for applications.
