To train experts capable of developing intelligent systems using different methodologies in the different stages of development and applying algorithms in areas such as machine learning, automatic natural language processing, artificial vision and bio-inspired models to meet the needs of different sectors of society through the generation of innovative processes and solutions.
Applicants to the Artificial Intelligence Engineering program should have a background in computer science. It is also desirable that they know English. They should also have skills such as analysis and synthesis of information, logical reasoning, and oral and written expression, as well as a willingness and ability to work collaboratively, have communication skills, and behave responsibly, honestly, and ethically.
Graduates of Artificial Intelligence Engineering will work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams in the analysis, design, implementation, validation, deployment, supervision, and management of intelligent systems, applying algorithms in areas such as machine learning, automatic natural language processing, artificial vision, and bio-inspired models; exercising their profession with leadership, ethics and social responsibility.

Resources that facilitate mobility and access to services through different means, such as: autonomous wheelchairs, intelligent guides, automatic translators, text generators, therapy, and companion software.
Intelligent systems to improve the quality of life applied to autonomous transportation, biometric identification, fraud detection, accident prevention and detection, intelligent tutors, vehicle traffic control, environmental monitoring and alerting, and civil protection.
