KNOW HOW TO BE AND LIVE TOGETHER
It is desirable that you have:
- A taste for science and in particular an interest in the scientific problems of the pharmaceutical industry.

- What is desirable in terms of knowing how to know, knowing how to do, and knowing how to be and live together, is clearly expressed by Dr. Juan Manuel Gutiérrez Vázquez. Juan Manuel Gutiérrez Vázquez (2004), renowned Mexican educator, and graduate of the ENCB-IPN, in the essay "necessary preparation for students who begin their higher studies", from this text we quote two ideas: "students who were able to carry out acute, analytical observations, in which they not only put into play all the senses relevant to the case but also their ability to carry out an agile mental scrutiny of what they are observing, who would try from the observation itself to establish the existing interactions between the components of the system under study; who would relate the observation they are carrying out at a given moment with the relevant observations they have made previously" and also that ". ...know how to discriminate, how to distinguish; how to discriminate between relevant and irrelevant information; how to distinguish a fact from an assumption or an explanation, or in general how to distinguish a fact from what is not a fact; and, as important as all the previous discriminations, how to distinguish whether the facts resulting from the observation and the well-planned experiment strengthen or discard the proposed explanation, however dear or elegant the explanation may seem to us".
- In this curricular redesign, it is proposed for a better performance of the students enrolled in the QFI career, the implementation of a general diagnostic examination, in the ENCB, and the students with better results would enter in the August-December semester, while the other part would take a propaedeutic or leveling semester, which would help to reduce the failure rate, without detriment of lowering the academic level of the career. This has been achieved in other Mexican entities.
