Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition

Objective

To train highly competent professionals, able to make an impact on the different stages of the natural history of malnutrition and the processes affecting the nutritional state of individuals, families and communities by providing assistance, managerial and research services.

Graduate´s profile

Upon completion of the degree, the Nutritionist will be able to

  • Diagnose individuals, groups and communities nutrition conditions
  • Create feeding and nutrition programmes
  • Provide services to patients in need of a diet therapy as a support in nutritional disorders, bad nutritional habits or illnesses
  • Prescribe diets according to nutritional needs at the different stages of life
  • Provide alimentary services
  • Take part in research projects in the alimentary, nutritional and educational areas

Academic Requirements

High school certificate

  • 7.0 average
  • Pass the entry examination
  • “Accepted” status in the results of the IPN entry exam published.
  • Any other requirement stated in the IPN’s entry call.
