Graduate´s profile

Psychology graduates must have the necessary theoretical, technical and methodological knowledge as well as the necessary skills, capabilities and values which provides them with a sense of responsibility and social commitment in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary work in order to carry out:

  • The promotion of the psychological welfare of the individual as well as the welfare of social institutions and their community as a whole
  • The prevention and treatment of disturbances in psychological processes and state, which may impact on mental health, educational processes and organisations
  • The evaluation of the psychological functioning of individuals by obtaining indicators of personality and cognitive, social, emotional, academic and job skills
  • The research of technological basic human behaviour in order to generate scientific sustainable knowledge
  • The proper response to society’s demands involving human behaviour and their biopsychosocial processes in a complex variety of settings which vary from discipline to discipline and in accordance with the advances and technological innovation
