To train Surgeons and Homeopaths with a solid preparation as General Practitioners and with the knowledge of Homeopathy that will allow them to participate efficiently in the prevention, medical care, and research of the health problems under their responsibility, contributing to raising the level and quality of life of Mexicans, as well as to the development and scientific and technological independence of Mexico.

The applicant to study the career of Medical Surgeon and Homeopath at the National School of Medicine and Homeopathy must have a vocation with scientific, humanistic, social and service characteristics in the medical area. In addition, to increase your chances of success, it is required that you adhere to the following profile:

• 100% completion of high school studies.

Consolidates critical, innovative, creative, and participative attitudes based on the knowledge that allows him/her to have a frame of reference to understand and integrate scientific medical knowledge; relating the problems of the environment to understand the resulting pathological processes, with a critical attitude that allows him/her to analyze, reflect and propose prevention, rehabilitation, and health promotion, showing solidarity with the most unprotected and needy social groups, as well as the conviction to apply his/her knowledge as part of the continuous professional development.

2. To take the admission exam for the higher level.
3. To be selected for admission.
