To form professionals with a high sense of ethics and commitment towards the community, in the computing technological field, able to approach and make decisions with creativity, order and method with regard to technological issues, able to design, create, evaluate and lead from different points of view and scientific with the help of technological grounds, gadgets or systems to solve computing issues.

Candidate’s Profile

The candidate must be able to have knowledge in mathematical calculation, reasoning and discernment, understand and cast single and group mechanical interactions, be organised, to analyse and synthesise, adapt in either industrial or social environment, draw, work in groups, apply theories and take them into practice, diagnose failures and give solutions.

Graduate´s profile

The graduate from ESIME Culhuacán obtains a professional formation based on critical thinking facing the reality which will allow him to use highly qualified resources using the state of the art technology in order to be at the forefront and obtain the highest level of quality in the industrial processes while having a great social sense of responsibility to transform, preserving the environment and performing professionally in public and private companies, such as:

  • Phone companies.
  • Communications.
  • Construction.
  • Transportation.
  • Television companies.
  • Research Institutions, etc.

Academic Requirements

  • Original high school certificate or a proof of the completion of these studies with the report card of the passed subjects during the 6 semesters of studies pursued.
    • 7.0 average at least.
    • The chosen major must correspond to the physical-mathematical field of study.
    • Sit the IPN entry examination according to the set dates and procedures.

Work Field

The developments in the work field involve digital system appliances designing, sign processing, images processing, telecommunications, computer nets, operating systems design, among others. In addition, there is an extensive emphasis in the use of computers as the main tool for mathematical analysis, information and instrumentation designing.
