From March 3 to 6, the Jaime Torres Bodet Cultural Center hosted a vibrant series of events. To commemorate International Mother Language Day, Sones al Alba performed in Nahuatl, accompanied by discussions on the value of indigenous languages. Meanwhile, at the Lázaro Cárdenas Esplanade, audiences enjoyed a live exhibition of the Ullama Ball Game, reviving pre-Hispanic traditions.
The Rock and Huélum 2024 champion band, Renegade Idea, delivered an electrifying performance at El Jardín, while the Mexican Political Song Forum kicked off its cycle in collaboration with the National Phonotheque, featuring Guadalupe "Viola" Trigo and Gabino Palomares.
The IPN Symphony Orchestra captivated the audience with a concert of Timeless Classics, and a night picnic at CECyT 7 featured the screening of My first kiss.
To conclude the festivities, tram tours returned! This experience, available on March 7 and 21 at 11:00 and 12:00, invites participants to rediscover Zacatenco from a unique perspective.
