Welcome to Academic Mobility students

Andrés Chavarría

Students from Colombia, Spain, France, Peru, and the Dominican Republic, as well as from Baja California, Chiapas, Estado de México, Hidalgo, Nayarit, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, Veracruz, and Zacatecas, have joined the polytechnic community as part of the Academic Mobility Program.

In welcoming them, the General Director of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional emphasized that the institution has strengthened its internationalization efforts and, in its 88-year history, has built bridges not only within the country but also around the world, enriching the knowledge, languages, traditions, and values of its community through exchange.

Speaking at the auditorium of the Directorate of Business Services and Technology Transfer, he highlighted the digital transformation of the Politécnico, which has enabled, among other things, the completion of registration and admission exam processes online.

"This is a significant advantage because it allows any applicant who wishes to enter the Institute, whether foreign or lacking the resources to undergo the admission process in person, to access it from their place of residence, enabling these highly potential students to be part of our community."

The head of the Instituto highlighted the infrastructure and the high-quality postgraduate programs, recognized nationally and internationally.

Therefore, he took the opportunity to invite young people to consider pursuing a master's or doctoral degree upon completing their professional education at one of the 20 polytechnic research centers throughout the country.

He mentioned that some of these centers are focused on oceanography, such as those in Baja California Sur, as well as centers located in Sinaloa, Tijuana, and Tamaulipas. "In these centers, you can learn and enjoy the natural richness and traditions of our Mexico because, from now on, you are the new ambassadors who will spread its greatness."

In turn, the Secretary of Innovation and Social Integration mentioned that academic mobility is a process designed to facilitate the stay of students in other national and international educational institutions, to complete a semester that will allow them to learn from another perspective the academic, social, and cultural landscape.
