Program objectives

To train national and international researchers of the highest academic level with quality and status of excellence in the areas of architecture and urbanism, linked to different disciplines, such as engineering (civil, urban, environmental, etc.), geography, history, sociology, anthropology, planning, ecology, real estate valuation, restoration, and physics, among others. Qualified to critically analyze the complexity of contemporary reality, propose, develop, and lead research groups and conduct original research, with proposals that contribute to solving the problems of the built habitat in Mexico, Latin America, and the world, to provide knowledge for better understanding, analysis, and attention.
