Program objectives

The PhD program in Robotic and Mechatronic Systems Engineering has a scientific orientation, to prepare the student, providing high-level academic training for the generation of original knowledge, through research and its innovative application in the solution of problems in the field of mechatronic systems and robotics, integrating knowledge of manufacturing, design, control, artificial intelligence, mechanics, electronics, computing, among others; The program prepares students to prepare and direct researchers or research groups, or to enter the productive sector to innovate in manufacturing processes or the technological development of new products. The purpose of this graduate program is to train doctors of the highest level, prepared to direct and develop, autonomously, scientific and applied research projects, oriented to technological development, whose results are innovative and constitute a substantial contribution in this interdisciplinary area, for the national and international community.
