Program / Master in Productive Biotechnology

Program objectives

The master's degree is designed for professionals who are indirectly or directly related to biotechnology (with a career related to some areas of engineering, agronomy, chemistry, and biology, among others) and who work in companies, associations, and entities of the productive, public and private sectors, who cannot devote full time to the development of a master's degree, but who require a deep preparation in the field of biotechnology. The main objective is to train professionals who are simultaneously capable of developing experimental research and productive biotechnologies, which are immediately applied in the generation of new processes, new products, and/or new services in all sectors of biotechnology application.

To have researchers with the capacity to join research groups and coordinate technological development groups in mixed academic and productive environments, oriented towards the improvement of productivity and business competitiveness, through the virtuous circle of discovery, invention, and production derived from research, development, and innovation in biotechnology.
