Program objectives

To train human resources of excellence in the area of marine sciences capable of solving problems of prospecting, evaluation, management, and conservation of marine resources. Develop scientific and technological research activities in the field of marine sciences that contribute to satisfying the needs and solving problems of Mexico's integral development. Disseminate, promote and transfer research and teaching products.
