To train professionals whose primary function is to plan, design, organize, direct, execute, supervise and analyse projects of measurement and representation of the terrestrial surface of a given region using a flat surface as a reference and administrate economic, technical and human resources that require such studies and projects.
Candidates to a degree in Topographic Engineering must have the following knowledge: Strong academic bases in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Drawing and Computing, at a high school level, preferably in the area Of Physical-Mathematical Sciences.
Basic knowledge on communication and oral and written expression in Spanish and foreign languages, computing, use and management of state-of-the-art scientific technologies and sports and artistic activities.
Analyse problems and evaluate solutions based on information as well as apply the knowledge and integrate a solution. Work in team and be able to adapt to the environment.
Incorporate emerging technologies and apply them to projects.
Geodesic and astronomical cartography for the preparation and administration of projects as well as the evaluation of them.
Use computational skills.
Given the preparation of the graduates and according to the functions that must be developed in their productive activity, they can immediately join the work field in any of the following companies and entities:
