Together with the Internal Control Body, progress in several institutional areas was presented as part of accountability efforts.
The Director General of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), Arturo Reyes Sandoval, chaired the Second Ordinary Session 2026 of the Institutional Control and Performance Committee (COCODI), a body made up of authorities from the Institute’s academic, administrative, and governmental units.
As part of the Polytechnic’s actions to strengthen transparency and accountability, Institute authorities gathered in the Hall of Former Directors, located in the Directorate General building, to review progress in programs and initiatives carried out during the first quarter of 2026.
The session was also attended by the head of the Internal Control Body (OIC), Mireya María Zuleta Monsiváis, along with members of her team. During the meeting, reports were presented on budget execution, progress in academic programs at the upper secondary, undergraduate, and graduate levels, and on policies related to staff training, professional development, and continuing education.
Additional topics included the implementation of austerity measures, real estate inventory management, investment projects, the simplification and digitalization of procedures and services, compliance with the General Archives Law, guidelines for innovation and technological development projects, and a report on the submission of Asset and Conflict of Interest Declarations by Institute personnel.
Authorities also reviewed progress in monitoring institutional performance management and the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies, among other matters.
